HAIM is officially entering a bold new chapter — and they’re bringing legends with them.
The sister trio made a headline-grabbing appearance on Watch What Happens Live this week, where they revealed two major updates: a cryptic but confirmed collaboration with the iconic Stevie Nicks, and a new single that’s been seven years in the making.
“All we can say is… Stevie Nicks is the greatest human being on this planet,” said Alana Haim, responding to a fan question. Though the group stayed tight-lipped, they confirmed the mystery track won’t appear on their upcoming album — adding, “It’s for something,” fueling speculation about a side project or soundtrack.
Meanwhile, their latest single “Relationships” — now streaming — carries emotional weight. Danielle Haim shared that the song began on a flight between Melbourne and Sydney seven years ago, and the band has been holding onto it ever since.
“We knew it had something special,” said Danielle. “It just didn’t fit until now.”
Their upcoming album, I Quit, has no official release date yet, but HAIM promises it will be their most personal project to date. Longtime collaborator Rostam Batmanglij (known for work with Clairo and Vampire Weekend) co-produced the record.
With deep lyrical roots, full creative control, and a collaboration with a rock icon in the works, this may be HAIM’s most defining era yet.
Fans can expect honesty, vulnerability, and — as Este Haim joked — maybe a surprise drop from a “Smurfs movie” (or maybe not).
One thing’s for sure: HAIM is ready to take over again.
